Following the successful Pilot 2 in Q4 2023, the Hydrophis team made rig modifications for Pilot 3, which began in May. The latest phase of piloting has focused on chemistry optimisations to further boost product purities and reduce footprint intensity. In addition, we are running calcining tests in Australia and the U.K. at temperatures of >1500°C to confirm the high quality of the calcium and magnesium oxides that can be produced from our marine-origin carbonates. 

The findings from Pilot 3 will enable us to make further enhancements to our product offering and technology. We’re already planning Pilot 4 for Q3-2024 onwards, when we’ll put these upgrades to the test.
